P8 Jackpot Castleton |
On the last dive in P8 the line was found to be silted up in the first sump. The plan was for Ken Pearce to dive with a line and tie it to the one already in place. After doing this Pearce returned to base. Dave Roberts then dived but he had trouble with his ears and had to return to base. Pearce then dived to the first air bell followed by John Sinclair 3 minutes behind. Pearce then dived into sump two with Sinclair as standby diver. He passed the second sump into a large chamber with another sump following. He then returned to the air bell and both divers returned to base. |
